This page has code fragments on it showing how to do some tasks in SUDAAN.
The three procs below use the NHANES III lab data. The jackwgts statement is given in the addendum to the analytic guidelines (8/30/02) on pages 17-18. Remember that the weight variable used on the weight statement and the replicate weights used on the jackwgts statement will change based on which data you are using (interview, lab, etc.). The adjustment to the jackwgts of .980769 is 51/52, and there are 52 replicate weights both for the interview data and for the exam data. Hence, I think that the correction is the same for both.
* The proc descript below creates three one-way tables; proc descript data = work1 filetype = sas design=jackknife; jackwgts WTPXRP1 - WTPXRP52 / adjjack = .980769; weight DMARACER ; var ahp; subgroup hssex DMARACER age1; level 2 4 6; run; * The proc descript below creates one three-way table; * NOTE: The tables statement in proc descript and proc crosstabs seems to work; * just like the tables statement in proc freq in SAS; * NOTE: I used the total keyword on the proc descript statement to get the se of ; * the total. proc descript data = work1 filetype = sas design=jackknife total; jackwgts WTPXRP1 - WTPXRP52 / adjjack = .980769; weight DMARACER ; var ahp; tables hssex*DMARACER*age1; subgroup hssex DMARACER age1; level 2 4 6; run; * NOTE: The proc crosstabs below shows the number of people in each of the categories; * I included this example in case you needed to use proc crosstabs for something; * NOTE: I added the setenv colwidth statement so that we did not get stars for the se; * If you run some SUDAAN code and get stars where there should be numbers, it means that; * the column width is too narrow for the number to be displayed. You can use a setenv ; * colwidth statement to increase the size of the column so that the number can be displayed; * correctly.; proc crosstabs data = work1 filetype = sas design=jackknife; jackwgts WTPXRP1 - WTPXRP52 / adjjack = .980769; weight DMARACER ; tables hssex DMARACER age1; subgroup hssex DMARACER age1; level 2 4 6; setenv colwidth = 13 ; run;
