Mplus is a powerful statistical package used for the analysis of latent variables. This is the second of two seminars on using Mplus 5. The first seminar covered many of the basics of using Mplus, such as entering data, as well as how to specify regression, exploratory factor, and longitudinal models in Mplus. This seminar covers a few of the many latent variable models that can be estimated using Mplus. This seminar will include the estimation of latent variables as well as the inclusion of latent variables in structural models. This class is designed for people who have some familiarity with Mplus and with latent variable models in general. If you are just getting started using Mplus, you might want to read the notes for our first seminar Introduction to Using Mplus 5 Part 1. These notes are the scripts for the seminar. The notes are not meant to be a Mplus textbook or substitute for the reference manual.
